Created for the Art Institute of Chicago’s exhibition Georgia O’Keeffe: “My New Yorks”, this film explores the pivotal period when O’Keeffe turned her attention to the rapidly changing skyline of 1920s New York. Featuring curators Sarah Kelly Oehler and Annelise K. Madsen, it traces how O’Keeffe translated the city’s scale, geometry, and shifting perspectives into paintings, drawings, and pastels—urban works central to the experimentation that shaped her modernist practice.
